What we're solving
Expertise alone does not make someone ready for a specific data task. The work needs people who understand the requirement, have been calibrated against the standard and know how to handle the difficult cases.
Expert sourced is not task ready. “Expert sourced” and “domain verified” describe where a person came from. They do not describe whether that person can carry out the specific task a lab needs.
Expertise needs calibration. A qualified professional can know a subject deeply and still need to learn how a particular task should be performed, documented and checked against a specific specification.
Quality is a learning curve. Accuracy on edge cases improves with practice, and different people reach consistency at different points. Closing that gap takes training, calibration, assessment and repeated work.
